Ingenjörer från Toyotas prestandaavdelning TRD i USA har tillsammans med U.S. Paralympics Skiing tagit fram sitt-skidan vi ser här. Den är anpassad för de atleter som inte själva kan stå upp och skida och den är utvecklad i samarbete med skidåkaren Chris Devlin-Young.

Lisa Materazzo som är group vice president, Toyota Marketing, Toyota Motor North America säger följande:

There is no better global event than the Paralympics for Toyota to reinforce our passionate belief that everyone has the right to freedom of movement in an inclusive society and we can’t wait to see the athletes compete in the first-ever Toyota Sit-Ski."

Skidan ska användas Andrew Kurka och Laurie Stephens under Paralympiska vinterspelen 2022 som pågår i Peking just nu.
