Jamie Oliver öppnar italienskt i Stockholm

I höst slår portarna till Jamie Olivers första restaurang här i Sverige upp. Jamie's Italian som stället heter kommer att finnas på Scandic Anglais i Stockholm. Frank Fiskers som är vd för Scandic Hotels säger följande:

"Vår ambition är alltid att vidga vårt utbud och ge exceptionellt bra service till våra gäster. Som en del i denna ambition vill vi även ge våra restauranger och barer ökat fokus. Vi vill skapa mer inspirerande upplevelser och arbeta tillsammans med människor som delar vårt engagemang när det gäller kvalitet, service och värderingar. Vi är stolta över samarbetet och framtidsplanerna tillsammans med Jamie's Italian."
På restaurangen ska man kunna äta enkel italiensk mat i en avslappnad miljö inspirerad av den italienska matkulturen.

Den första Jamie-restaurangen med italienskt tema öppnade 2008 i Oxford i England och idag finns det 35 stycken i Storbritannien, och nio stycken utanför landet.

Jamie’s Italian and Scandic Hotels in unique exclusive Nordic partnership

Jamie Oliver and Scandic Hotels are proud to announce the opening of the first Jamie’s Italian restaurant in the Nordic region. Scandic Hotels will be the exclusive operating partner of Jamie’s Italian in the region and the first restaurant is due to open in autumn 2014 in Stockholm.

Jamie's Italian has won thousands of fans by creating neighborhood venues, inspired by the Italian table, where people relax, share and enjoy each other’s company. The restaurants are designed to be affordable and accessible, a place where everyone is welcome and feels comfortable. The casual dining experience is based on offering tasty and simple Italian food, using only the best fresh ingredients. All produce used in Jamie’s Italian is higher welfare and this conscious view of quality and responsibility is strongly shared by Scandic.

- We've worked with the guys at Scandic for nearly five years now across a number of projects and I'm incredibly excited to be teaming up with them to launch Jamie's Italian into the Nordic region. Jamie's Italian opened its first restaurant in the UK in 2008, and is now loved by diners across the world in countries like Australia, Russia, Singapore and Turkey. Whilst Scandic and Jamie’s Italian will expand further into the Nordic region, all the teams focus is now on the first restaurant in Stockholm.

The first restaurant will open in the city center of Stockholm. Scandic’s relationship with Jamie Oliver goes back to 2009, since when Scandic guests have been able to choose dishes from menus especially composed by Jamie Oliver and the Scandic Food & Beverage Team.
