Den svenska högtalartillverkaren Nocs knoppar av sig och startar Nocs Atelier. Deras första produkt är Seconds - ett stilrent armbandsur i svart. På insidan sitter ett urverk från Miyota och storleken på boetten är 40 millimeter.

Seconds is a study in perception. Both commonplace and abstract, our first
watch challenges you to view time through your own unique lens.
The design approach behind Seconds is undeniably abstract, a fact evident in the watch’s characteristics. Our intention was to meditate on time itself, and how it occupies the crossroads between the tangible and the immaterial. A watch is an everyday item, but the interplay between form, functionality and
perception is one that we wanted to stress in order to differentiate Seconds from other timepieces. At first glance our watch may appear simple and straightforward, but upon further reflection the wearer will perceive the contrast
between the simple geometric shapes and appealing high-end materials.
From a craftsmanship point of view, Seconds embodies the design ethos of Stockholm, Sweden, and the progressive mindset embraced by the city and its residents, among them our Nocs Atelier design team.

The Seconds watch is produced using a multilayered process that is equal
parts cutting-edge technology and human ingenuity. The result is a finely-
crafted timepiece that is durable, beautiful, and unique. Seconds’ composition consists of a two-part lugged 40mm sandblasted steel 316 case with a
chamfered bezel in brushed finish. The case houses a pair of individual
three-hand quartz Japanese movements with a four-year battery life. The
PVD-coated, matte finish dial integrates with your choice of silver or gold
second hands.
The linear-arranged lugs hold a Nato nylon strap that’s fastened with a sharp-edged, minimalistic buckle. Measuring 7.3 mm in depth, Seconds presents a slender silhouette.
Water resistant 5 ATM; hardened crystal lens; available with silver or gold second hand with a PVD black case.

audio products. Our mission is simply to design things that combine a simple, minimalist approach with top-grade materials. When we founded Nocs Atelier and convened to design a watch, there was never a time when someone said “I can’t think of anything”. That’s because we love what we do. Product development isn’t a chore, it’s an exploration, a chance to discover a new way of doing something, a novel way of expressing our vision. Our objective is to design superior products that are constantly evolving, thus meeting and exceeding our customers’ wants and expectations.
