Bara för att det är vinter innebär inte det att man inte kan rasta en Formel 1-bil. Racerföraren Max Verstappen fick vinnarbilen RB7 F1 levererad till de österrikiska alperna med helikopter där han sedan gasade loss lite i en backe inför ett gäng antagligen nöjda åskådare.

The Team to kick 2016 into gear with a one of a kind Snowrun in Hahnenkamm as Max Verstappen gets set to take the RB7 down the legendary Streif ski course in Kitzbühel on Thursday.

Formula One fans in Austria won't have to wait until July's Austrian Grand Prix at Spielberg's Red Bull Ring for their fix of action as Scuderia Toro Rosso's Max Verstappen and the Team combine to bring a healthy dose of ice blasted donuts to the country's stunning Alpine Landscape ahead of Skiing's prestigious World Cup event.

At over 1,600 metres in altitude, with snow and freezing temperatures the norm for this small corner of Austria at this time of year, our Live Demo Team are pushing the boundaries of what's possible once again as they look to run a finely tuned title winning RB7 down a specially designed downhill section of the Hahnenkamm mountain side.

How can a Formula One car run in the Alps' snow?

This extremely ambitious project has brought about a major logistical challenge. The car that Max Verstappen is to drive is to be transported to the mountain by helicopter, and to be equipped – in an extraordinary move for a Formula 1 car – with studded tyres, to make the first public show run of an F1 car in the Alps possible.

And it's not just the studded Pirelli Sport tyres or slightly higher ride-height that will catch your eye. Look closely and you'll spot the debut of a specially designed interim 'snow livery', just for this event, that will feature the logos of our new partners TAG Heuer and Puma for the 2016 season.

So where and when will the Bull hit the Ice?

Weather dependent, the RB7 will hit the specially designed course at 11am (CET) on Thursday 14th January at the mountain station of the Hahnenkammbahn cable car and is open for the public to attend.
