On the evening of May 30, HUGO BOSS will be hosting a spectacular event in Shanghai. The "Power Station of Art" will venue an impressive fashion show presenting the BOSS Mens- and Womenswear Collections for Winter 2013.

The BOSS Collection is headlined "Conceptual Luxury." In the BOSS Womenswear, soft lines and voluminous shapes strike a balance between elegance and high fashion. The collection combines organic forms with threedimensional details, translated by Womenswear Brand & Creative Director Eyan Allen into a modern take on femininity. In the men's collection, Menswear Brand & Creative Director Kevin Lobo presents classic cuts with exclusive detailing – leather and fur accent the lapels of doubled-breasted jackets and coats crafted of cashmere and silk. The color story ranges from aubergine through dove blue to exclusive black, flanked by a deep tea green and luxurious golden yellow for the BOSS Womenswear looks.

Opened on October 1, 2012, the Power Station of Art is China's first public museum of contemporary art. The current name is a vestige of the building's past: it was constructed in 1897 for the Nanshi Electric Light Factory. Inspired by the building's legacy, the shape of the runway echoes a bolt of lightning. LEDs will illuminate the 200-foot-long catwalk on which top models – including Joan Smalls, Karmen Pedaru and Shu Pei along with Alex Lundqvist and Clement Chabernaud – will be showcasing the collection.

Some 1,000 invited guests – Asian and international stars and VIPS, press representatives, and buyers – are expected to attend the show. At the subsequent get-together, an exquisite dinner featuring modern and traditional Chinese cuisine will be served. Guests will then have an opportunity to close the glamorous evening at an after-show party. The event will be accompanied by full-scale campaigns in the online, mobile and social media.
